About Us
Our History
The Greater Kansas City Chapter received its charter on April 28, 2022.
We are dedicated to empowering African American insurance professionals while increasing the awareness of opportunities and the attractiveness of careers in the insurance industry.
We are engaged in the personal growth and professional development of our members by providing opportunities for networking, continuing education, and building beneficial connections and partnerships.
Our mission is to create a network of Black insurance professionals and allies to build camaraderie, support learning about the insurance industry, develop talent through mentoring and sponsorship, and promote the value of insurance for not only individuals but our workplaces and communities.
Our vision is to attract, connect, support, and fortify Black talent at every level and within every discipline within the insurance industry by improving diversity, representation, and sustainability inside the communities in which we live, work, and invest.
